A Vacation Built Around You
Your contract is with Gulet Group, Marmaris,TURKEY.By placing an order or agreeing to cruise with Gulet Group, you acknowledge that you have read and undertsand these terms and conditions and that you agree to be strictly bound by them. A contact exists as soon as we recieve your deposit and issue our confirmation. You should check the details of your confirmation thoroughly to ensure that it is accurate. If there are any mistakes or discrepancies, you must contact us immediately or else we will not be held responsible for refunding your money a later date. This contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions, which are subject to the exclusive laws and jurisdiction of the.................................... alone,and we both agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the .................................................. at all times. When making your booking the lead name must have the authority to do so on behalf of the other people covered by the booking. The lead name will be fully responsible for the full cost of the cruise including any cancellation, amendment or damage charges.
Prices & Price Guarantee
The price of your cruise is fully guaranteed and we not be subject to any surcharges. Prices are accurate at the time of publication but may have since changed. Whilst we reserve the right to increase or decrease the brochure price at any time (subject to supply and demand) once you have booked your cruise and paid the deposit,the price as shown on your invoice is fully guaranteed. The price will not be subject to any changes unless you subsequently amend your cruise after the invoice is issued.
A 50% deposit it required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full within 3 weeks of your departure. If the balance is not paid in time, we may cancel your cruise and retain your deposits.
Changing Your Booking
We hope that we will not have to make any change to your cruise. But because our cruises are planned many months in advance, we some time do need to make changes. We reserve the right to do this at any time (see events beyond or control) in most cases this changes will be minor, but if they are of a more substantial nature we will do or best to advise you be for departure. If you want to change any details of your cruise (such as changing your departure time/airport) you must inform Gulet Group with the new details immediately and we will endeavour to accommodate you. If you want to change the date of your cruise we will endeavour to accommodate you, however, we can not guarantee your prefered choice. A small administration charge may be levied against changes to bookings.
If You Cancel Your Cruise
In the event of you having to cancel your cruise after payment of the deposit, no refund of the deposit will be given. If you cancel after final payment we will endeavour to sell your cruise to someone else and give you a corresponding refund less the deposit. If we can't sell that cruise you will be liable for the full amount.
Changing Your Booking
You may make alterations to the party names on your booking at no extra cost up to 7 days prior to your departure, however the party leader in who's name the cruise is booked cannot change. You cannot sell or pass on your booking to a third party. You should ensure you take out holiday insurance that covers the cost of cancellation.
Damage & Brekage's
A deposit of 750 € per booking is payable with your final balance to cover any damage or breakage caused by you or other members of the party to the boat, its contents and associated equipment. A proportinate deduction will be made from the deposit the cover repairs or replacement. Damage in acess of this will have to be settled prior to leaving the boat. The deposit or part thereof will be fully refunded within 7 days of the end of the cruise. The party leader is responsible for the payment for all damages and breakage's.
Gulet Group is a specialised cruise/charter company and not an inclusive package tour operator, or clients come from around the world and we do not book flights. The clients are responsible for selecting and booking their own flight and personal insurance. Ideally your flights should be reserved prior to sending your payment. You should enter your flight details on the booking form. Gulet Group will not be responsible for any unforeseen eventualities and will not compensate for any errors inconveniences in respect of flights. i.e. delays rescheduled flights, flight cancellations caused by your chosen airline. We regret any disappointment or inconvenience these changes may cause however,you will still return on the date stated on your booking form. Please make sure that your personal travel insurance policy ensures you are fully protected against possible cancellation and delay.
Events Beyond Our Control
Gulet Group takes great care to try to ensure that you have a safe and happy cruise. Sometimes events happen beyond our control and we may decide that it is in your best interests to cancel or change your cruise arrangements either before departure or while you are away. We base our decisions on the best advice available to us and regret any disappointment or inconvenience these changes may cause. Remember that by booking your cruise with Gulet Group ,you agree if through eventsbeyond our control; we have to cancel your cruise before commencement a 100% refund will be given. If bad weather prohibits cruising, you will be entitled to a fuel refund at the rate of 30 per hour under-way lost. However if we have to cancel, change or curtail the cruise after commencement, a proportional daily refund will be given. We will not cancel your cruise except for events beyond our control, or force majeure, or failure by you to pay the final balance. In any of these cases we will not be liable to pay compensation. In the unlikely event it becomes necessary, we will do our best to repatriate you or make suitable alternative arrangements for your welfare. Events beyond our control include: war threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire epidemics, health risks, mechanical breakdown with transport beyond our control or that of your suppliers, closed or congested airports or ports and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, crew sickness and other similar events.
Force Majeure
Gulet Group has the right to change the itinerary at anytime and shall not be liable if prevented from fulflling any obligations by an incident of force majeure including an act of god, act of government or any other occurrence beyond their control. Should the itinerary have to be changed due totechnical problems, Gulet Group will make every effort to provide clients with alternative arrangements. Where those arrangements are not of a similar standart a proportionate refund will be given. The extent of our liability is limited to the monetary value of the cruise. Gulet Group reservers the right to alter the cruising ground to suit prevailing weather conditions, local restrictions and other unforeseen circumstances.
Passport & Immigration
All British citizen's now need a full ten-year passport for all overseas visits.You are not permitted to travel on a one year visitor's passport. It is essential that you travel with a valid passport and it is your responsibility to check that your passport is valid on the dates that you travel Persons entering Turkey will have to purchase a visitor's visa on arrival at their own expense currently 10 sterling.
Our Responsibility
We will provide the services that make up the exclusive cruise you have booked. These servises will be provided either by us or by independent suppliers contractedby us. Gulet Group is responsible for making sure that each part of the cruise is provided to a high standart and as described in our brochure If any part of your cruise is not provided as described in the brochure you must submit any complaint to the company and the matter will be discussed and dealt with by the management. Gulet Group reserves the right to substitute the vesel advertised with a vessel of similar or better standart size and specification . Gulet Group has the right to substitude any member of the crew in case of unforseen circumstances. Our liability to you for any loss or damage you may suffer (other than personel injury resulting from the non-performance of the services involved in the cruise) including cancellation or curtailment,is limited to the price of your cruise.
Impaired Mobility
Gulet Group endeavours to accommodate all customers including those with disabilities. However our experience indicates that a cruise is not suitable for customers who rely on wheelchairs for mobility and certain; other disabilities on the grounds of safety. To ensure the suitability of the cruise please talk to one of our team direct prior to booking. Clients obligations. By accepting these conditions clients agree;
(i) That the details on the booking form are accurate and complate.
(ii) To inform us of any physical disabilities or outstanding medical conditions that we should be made aware of.
(iii) Not to bring on board any restricted items or illegal goods such as non-prescribed drugs, firearms,or explosives. (Note:the pos session and or use of restricted drugs carry very severe penalties in Turkey and Greece)
(iv)To respect the boat, it's crew and all fittings and equipment on board.
(v) To attend a safety briefing at the commencement of the cruise.
(vi) To restrict smoking to designated areas
(vii)To acknowledge that the command of the boat is the total responsibility of the skipper.
(viii)Not to jeopardise the safety of the boat, its crew or other pas sangers.
(ix) The captain's decision is final and enforceable under local laws.
No visitors will be permitted on the boat unless by prior agreement with the captain.
Personal Watercraft (Watersports)
Water sport equipments are present particular hazards to those driving them and other persons in the water. If in the captain's opinion, the water sport equipments are being use in an unruly or dangerous manner, we reserve the right to withdraw its use with no refund.
Included In Price
Crew members, fuel for 3 to 4 hours cruising per day. Use of Dinghy and outboard, linen and local cruising taxes. Owners liability insurance.
Data Protection & Confidentiality
Gulet Group operates a policy of complete confidentiality in respect of client's bookings and details. We will not pass your details on to any third parties. We may however,from time to time inform you of future cruises and promotions operated by the company.
Your Crew
Gulet Group has the right to substitute any crew members with a similar skilled crew. Crews usually consist of a Captain,Cook and Seaman/Mechanic at your service. They are very friendly/permitting a relaxed atmosphere but at the same time extremely professional knowing the coastal waters and their yachts inside out. Due their life on the sea, the crew members are a mind of information on the local history and surroundings being able to advise on the best places to snorkel and anchor etc. The crew will be glad to help out as far as their duties will permit and are there to give you an unforgettable Blue Voyage making you want to return just as the majority of our clients.
Termination Of Contract
Gulet Group reserves the right to terminate its contract with clients if any of the booking conditions are not met or fulfilled.
